Cheerleading Information

NYFC Inspirational Team:

Natick youth football and cheerleading offers an inspirational cheerleading team.  Any child ages 5-21 with cognitive or physical challenges may register for this team.  This team will meet two nights each week for one hour.  The children will do an exhibition in competition events and games, but no child will be required to participate. Cheerleading Information:

We are looking forward to another great season of cheerleading!!  Please read through this completely as it contains important information.

Practice: starts for cheer the first week of August at NHS Memorial Field on West St. and will be from 6-8 pm Tue-Wed-Thur.  The older teams may practice on an additional day, your coach will notify you of this. 

Please be at the field no later than 5:30 on the first night to allow time to check in, assemble teams and meet your coaches.  Once school starts practices for the youngest team drops to 2 days a week usually Tuesday and Thursday.  Practices are subject to change and each team will be notified by their coach should there be a change.

Practices are Tues, Wed, Thurs from 6-8 in August and once school starts the E team drops down to two days (usually 6-7 or 6-7:30).

Sometime in September we start indoor practices.  Our schedule is dictated by rental space and each team will be notified as to time and place once it is confirmed.


Please note that practice times and locations may change.

Please remember to upload a picture of your cheerleader into the registration system if you have not already.


Pick-up: please be at the field at 7:45, practice ends promptly at 8:00 pm unless instructed otherwise by your coach. No player will be left unattended at the field.  Please be on time.


Cancellation: if practice is cancelled we make every effort to post it on the web at least 15 minutes before practice starts or you will receive and email from your coach.  Often times we make a last minute call so keep checking the website. There are frequent passing storms in August and September and usually we can wait it out and still practice.


Games: There is one game a week on either Saturday or Sunday.  The first game will be on Labor Day weekend.  Away games tend to be earlier in the day (unless it is a Saturday game). The game schedule will be posted late July.


Equipment and Uniforms:

You will be provided with a uniform before the first game and a deposit will be required.  Please do not alter it in ANY way (including pins).  Every effort will be made to fit each cheerleader with the correct uniform.  You will be required to leave a damage deposit that will be returned when the uniform is returned.


A complete list of required accessories including hair bows / bags / sneakers / poms / undergarments will be emailed to you. *Please be prepared to spend between $70.00-140.00 for these items. 


Concussion Testing: A concussion test is required for any player in 5th grade or older who did not take the test last year (more information and test dates to follow)


Volunteers: we always need volunteers for fundraising, concessions, game day etc. If you are interested in volunteering please email your name, contact information and what you would like to help with to


Concession Stand: Each family is asked to do at least one shift in the concession stand.  There will be a sign up sheet in the stand to sign up.

The Turf Field

We cannot jeopardize our privilege with the town to use the field. These rules will be strictly enforced. Thank you for your cooperation!!


  • Positively no cleats on the track.

  • Water only - no Gatorade, coffee, juice or any other beverage will be allowed on the field.

  • No dogs or pets on the field or track.

  • No strollers, skateboards, rollerblades, bikes, or scooters allowed on the track or field.

  • No alcohol or tobacco

American Youth Football (AYF) requires that each player is certified.  Below is a list of the required documents for each player to be certified. Thank you for your effort and cooperation with the collection of these documents.


The following items are required:

  • Registration Fee if you did not pay online

  • AYF Participation Tracking and ID Card Page 1 Signed and initialed

  • AYF Participation Tracking and ID Card Page 2 Signed and initialed

  • Emergency Medical Treatment Consent

  • Medical Clearance signed by participants Doctor or Annual Physical that MUST be dated after January 1st

  • Original Birth Certificate with a raised seal - copies are not accepted - a copy is also required for us to keep. We wil view your original and certify your copy and give you back the original.

  • Copy of Final (June) Report Card, name, date and school year must be visible THIS MUST BE DOWNLOADED FROM IPASS AS SOON AS THEY BECOME AVAILABLE IN JUNE (THEY CLOSE THE SITE MID JULY)

  • Image Release

  • Waiver and Release of Liability

  • Code of Conduct

  • Concussion Acknowledgement

  • Absentee Form -Signed but NOT dated

  • Concussion Test for any player 10 years or older
